Pentair IntelliCenter i5PS Kit - Pool and Spa with Load Center

After almost 20 years i upgraded my Pentair Compool to the Intellicenter. My purchase from Polytecpools was easy, very reasonable and I received the product timely. The Intellicenter box is well build (solid and heavy) and it replaced both my Compool plastic panel and the breaker box. I had my electrician hook it up and it took him all day. It works great. The only negative with the product is the apps ability to use the automation when you are out of your Wi-Fi zone. When your Intellicenter and phone are on the same Wi-Fi you can connect via the local pool selection. If your mobile device is not connected with the same Wi-Fi you can use Pentair’s server to connect. The problem it that their servers is often down. I have called them at least 3 times since my install (2 weeks ago) and reported it. Once they fix their server issue the Intellicenter deserves 5 stars.

I purchased the Pentair i5PS intellicenter to replace a compool system that had been hit by lightning. Purchasing it from Polytec Pools was great. It came quickly and was well packaged. They had very good communication on the shipping. I did the install myself which can be a little bit of a challenge but it went well. The instructions from Pentair on the software set up could be better but the final product is fantastic. The intelliCenter appears to be a great product and I think I will be very pleased with it for many years to come.
