Fast and easy fix
We moved into a 8 year old home and from the beginning we were having to chemically chlorinate the 15,000 gallon salt water play pool. Our pool guy said the SGS cell was fine and it was normal to have to add chlorine weekly. After much research we decided to replace the cell. We could immediately see the difference in the "bubbling" activity in the cell. We ran it on boost for a few days and have been able to maintain the chlorine level between 4 and 5 ppm with the setting on 75% since then. Installation was fast and easy. Only negative is that the unit did not include a new gasket. I would recommend this unit to anyone with an older SGS cell that is struggling to maintain a proper chlorine level.
